Job responsibilities

  • The Project Manager will be responsible for providing strategic, technical, financial, and operational leadership for the Project.

  • S/he will serve as the primary focal point for project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring compliance with RGF requirements, Intego Facility procedures, and district priorities.

  • The role requires strong engagement with the District Executive Secretary, the District Project Coordination Committee, RGF, and community stakeholders.

  • The Project Manager will also ensure that project activities are effectively coordinated, risks are managed, resources are utilized efficiently, and results are achieved in a timely and sustainable manner.

  • Master's in Rural Development

  • Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences

Required competencies and key technical skills

  • Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French. Knowledge of all is an added advantage

  • Ability to exercise tact and discretion in preparing, handling and disclosing information of a confidential or sensitive nature
