Currently, the Bank is seeking additional talent to serve as the Senior Officer, Change Management, who reports to the Manager, Governance, Risk & Compliance.

SENIOR OFFICER, CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Job Summary

The Change Management Senior Officer is responsible for the day-to-day execution, coordination, and administration of all change and release processes. The role ensures proper logging, categorization, documentation, compliance, scheduling, validation, and communication of changes. It also supports release cycles by ensuring that deployment packages, release documentation, and approvals are complete, accurate, and compliant with the applicable Change and Release Management framework. The role remains the operational focal point for Change and Release Governance, with the existing responsibilities and scope unchanged.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability

  • Perform daily administration of change requests in the ITSM tool, ensuring proper logging, classification, and accuracy.
  • Validate change forms for completeness of technical details, approvals, impact analysis, rollback plans, and evidence.
  • Coordinate with change owners to ensure missing information or documentation is updated before change progression.
  • Prepare CAB meeting agendas, review packs, schedules, and supporting documentation.
  • Publish weekly CAB minutes, decisions, escalations, and outcomes to all stakeholders.
  • Manage the Change Calendar, ensuring correct scheduling, conflict checks, and blackout period adherence.
  • Track the progress of change requests from submission to closure, ensuring SLAs are met.

  • Support governance of emergency changes, including eCAB logistics, documentation, and postimplementation reviews.
  • Monitor and track unauthorized, rejected, overdue, or non-compliant changes and escalate appropriately.
  • Facilitate communication of planned changes, risks, approvals, and change windows to business and IT teams.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating Change Management SOPs, templates, and work instructions.
  • Support release governance by ensuring deployment packages are complete, reviewed, and approved before deployment.
  • Track release readiness activities including testing evidence, release sign-offs and environment approvals.
  • Ensure alignment between Release Management processes and the Change Management framework.
  • Support DevOps, CI/CD and automated deployment governance by validating release tickets.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly Change & Release dashboards for reporting.
  • Support audits (internal, external, regulatory) by preparing evidence, change logs and process documentation.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for Change & Release governance.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation, evidence and change histories.
  • Provide support to subsidiaries to ensure Group Change & Release policies are followed.
  • Track implementation results, failures, rollbacks and incidents caused by changes.
  • Support RCSA exercises, compliance validations and controls testing within Change & Release processes.

  • Interpret the Vulnerability assessment report and penetration Testing report
  • Ability to test the incident response plan
  • Ability to conduct IT risk assessment and provide recommendations on identified loopholes
  • Ability to evaluate the IT environment and assess controls in place and suggest any improvements
  • Ability to assess the adequacy of information security tools

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor’s degree with Second Class upper-level majoring in IT and information security
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking or auditing, especially in IT risk management or Information Security audit.
  • Expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines and practices

  • Professional qualification in IT Risk Management and Data Protection Risk Management is a MUST to have (Certified in Information System Audit (CISA), Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)).
  • Able to operate in a performance-driven organization and culturally aware and adept at working within multicultural settings
  • Attended Leadership training
