Purpose of the Job

The T24 Developer role is possible for developing applications in or to interact with the Bank’s T24 Temenos applications.

Key Accountabilities not limited to

• Be responsible for T24 software development in all stages from technical design to delivery
• Collaborate with the business analysts and quality assurance team to collect insight and discuss deliverables
• Meticulously perform coding, code review and unit testing for the T24 Temenos system
• Contribute to the maintenance of the product and bring fresh ideas to the table
• Proactively collaborate with team members and business units to find the best solutions for complex technical issues
• Design and implement new functionality and enhancements based on the logged user change requests
• Work closely with IT Security to ensure that applications are well secured
• Work closely with third party vendors to assess vendor proposals and recommendations
• Specifying and ensuring application controls are incorporated during design of the software in order to check on risk exposure
• Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and perform technical unit testing
• Recommend improvements to existing T24 technical and business processes in order to meet the Bank’s requirements
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents, design and execute test plans

Experience

• Show off your 3- 7 years’ experience in development of Temenos T24/Core Banking for financial and banking institutions
• Demonstrate your experience with Temenos T24 software design and software engineering practices, including the following T24 modules: System Core tables, Funds Transfer, Teller, AA Lending, AA Deposits & TPH
• Have prior exposure to working with T24 Interfaces to external vendors
• Experience working with databases (relational or NoSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent in a related program

Knowledge

• Demonstrate your skills in T24 template programming and T24 customization (VERSION, ENQUIRY, online services), COB
• Have the ability to translate requirements and ideas into proper functional and technical design documents
• Deep knowledge of TAFJ/jBASE, JQL, OFS, jAgent
• Show off your knowledge of the following high-level programming languages: C# or Java with JBase being considered as an asset
• Demonstrate your excellent algorithmic skills and problem-solving capabilities
• Understanding of modern software development concepts like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Analytical with good project management and team leadership skills
• Possess excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently
