Technology Adoption is responsible for developing and implementing effective training programs, change management strategies, and knowledge transfer initiatives to facilitate a smooth transition and continuous utilization of enterprise-wide solutions.

About RSSB

The Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) has the mandate to manage and promote social security in Rwanda. RSSB's vision is to provide a comprehensive social security system that caters to the diverse social security needs of the population, RSSB plays an important role in realising Vision 2050 and the National Strategy for Transformation (NSTI). RSSB manages six social security schemes, namely: Pension, Occupational Hazards, Medical scheme, CBHI, Maternity Leave Benefits and EjoHeza (Long-term Term Saving Scheme).

As a leading player in the financial sector, RSSB serves as the largest institutional investor in Rwanda. With assets under management amounting to 3 trillion Rwf, which is equivalent to over 15% of the country's GDP, RSSB invests in key sectors of the economy and plays a crucial role in growing the country's financial sector.
With approximately 12 million members in the above six schemes, encompassing over 90% of Rwanda's population, RSSB is at the forefront of securing the health and financial well-being of Rwandans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement technology training programs for staff at all levels.
  2. Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps related to technology use.
  3. Create and maintain knowledge bases, business process documentation, and other materials to support ongoing technology adoption.
  4. Promote a culture of continuous learning and digital innovation.
  5. Identify and address technology adoption challenges and propose effective solutions.
  6. Collaborate with the Technical Support team to ensure seamless troubleshooting and user support during training transitions.
  7. Gather feedback from users to continuously improve training and adoption methodologies.
  8. Analyze and report on technology adoption metrics and provide insights for improvement.
  9. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the manager.

Key Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate must have at least:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, or Education) or equivalent experience.

  2. Preferably 2 years of experience in technology training, change management, or technology adoption roles.

  3. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

  4. Experience with developing and delivering training materials and programs.

  5. Familiarity with various enterprise technologies, systems, and processes (e.g., ERP, CRM, document management, collaboration tools).

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficient in learning management systems (IMS) and e-leurning authoring tools.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologie
  • Excellent documentation and technical writing skit

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Organined and detail-oriented approach

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with potential for on-site support visits.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Occasional on-call or after-hours support may be required.
