Raw Materials Warehouse storekeeper

 JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive Raw materials storekeeper to efficiently manage the raw materials intake, storage, and distribution while collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to minimize loss and ensure smooth operations.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Organize the reception, offloading, and counting of delivered goods while ensuring accuracy against delivery notes.
• Conduct initial quality checks, coordinate with quality control personnel, and provide necessary product details for further inspection.
• Manage on-site distribution of goods, ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Accurately input stock movements into the ERP system (X3) and maintain updated store records.
• Assign tasks to subordinates, guide them on proper handling of goods, and foster a productive work environment.
• Track daily stock levels, update warehouse records, and assist in stock-taking activities as per the plans.
• Ensure FIFO principles are followed, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and oversee secure storage of goods.
• Work closely with supervisors, supply chain, security and teams finance, to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on inventory, transactions, and warehouse activities.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of inventory control, stock accuracy, and efficient warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with product specifications, handling requirements, and storage conditions.
• Experience with inventory tracking systems (e.g., ERP, X3) for accurate stock monitoring.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, FIFO principles, and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Ability to interpret and analyze inventory, stock trends, and operational data for informed decision-making.
• Experience in supervising and coordinating teams to optimize productivity and maintain workflow efficiency
• High attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with inventory software, and experience with Microsoft office suite.
• High integrity, reliability and strong work ethics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, management or related field.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
