The Sanjay Parekh International Merit Scholarship is given based on the secondary school student's academic performance and is worth between $8,000 and $16,000 USD over four years.

It is available to first-time, full-time residents who are applying for an undergraduate degree and are seeking F-1 student visa status. For consideration, applications must be accepted by June 1st. By the middle of June, scholarship applicants will be chosen and notified. For consideration, applicants must have a least 3.2 GPA or its equivalent.

To be eligible for F-1 status, applicants must obtain an I-20 certificate of eligibility. The scholarship stipend is for eight semesters of full-time study toward one undergraduate degree, excluding summers and study abroad.

In order to keep earning the scholarship, recipients must keep a 2.75 grade point average and reside on campus.
