PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

REPUBLIC OF CUBA - GOVERNMENT OF RWANDA SCHOLARSHIPS

The Higher Education Council (HEC) wishes to inform the public that through the bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Cuba and the Government of Rwanda, the latter has offered scholarship for bachelor's level in the field of General Medicine in academic year 2025.

Interested candidates should submit of the following application documents:

• Application letter addressed to the Director General of HEC
• Valid passport
• Curriculum Vitae
• One (1) recent passport size photo
• Original - notified certificate or results slip and transcripts
• Recommendation letter from the Head of secondary school where the candidate accomplished secondary school level.

Please note:

1. Candidates applying for this scholarship must have studied particularly Physics Chemistry Biology (PCB) or Mathematics Chemistry Biology (MCB) with a score of 80% (or equivalent) in the Senior Six National Examinations.
2. Only complete application files will be considered.
3. A complete application file should be submitted online via the link: https://mis.hec.gov.rw/system-login (New user of the system should first sign up before login and download a user guide for instruction of how to apply).
4. This scholarship covers all costs of study including tuition fees, accommodation, living allowance, medical insurance. Any other extra expenses that may arise will be covered by the student.
