Position Overview:

As a Data Management Intern – Systems Team, you will play a key role in supporting the organization and management of our vital data systems. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will assist with maintaining our data repositories, developing forms, and automating workflows primarily using Airtable. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to work with basic coding—where familiarity with JavaScript will be a plus. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a high-growth environment, empowering you to contribute to Kabisa Electric's impactful mission while refining your technical and operational skills.

Responsibilities: Data Management & Organization:

• Assist in maintaining our data repositories within Airtable, ensuring information accuracy and proper organization.
• Support the development of processes aimed at monitoring data quality and adherence to company standards.

Automation & Workflow Development:

• Collaborate in creating custom forms and automation workflows to improve internal processes and operational efficiency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support the integration of data systems with other business platforms.

Technical & Coding Support:

• Apply basic JavaScript skills to assist in developing and refining custom solutions that enhance data system functionality.
• Troubleshoot and report on technical issues to facilitate continuous improvement of our systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Support the Systems Team by contributing to projects that interface with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
• Help provide data insights to foster a culture of data-driven decision making across the organization.

Learning and Development:

• Engage with mentors and senior team members to deepen your understanding of data management, automation, and technical tools within a dynamic startup environment.
• Participate in workshops, training sessions, and real-world projects that enhance your expertise in emerging technologies and data systems.

Requirements:

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrable interest in data management and systems operations, with familiarity or some hands-on experience in Airtable being highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript with a willingness to learn and apply coding concepts in a practical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• A proactive and curious mindset, eager to learn in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
