Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Maintain NBAs accounting, Budget accounting, or Financial accounting and reporting as assigned by the supervisor;

  • Ensure a proper receipt of funds and an effective custody and disbursement of funds;

  • Facilitate the conduct of internal and external audit exercises;

  • Preparation and pre-checking of documents for payment of goods and services after checking the conformity and accuracy of payment requests;

  • Maintain the Cash Books and General Ledgers using an appropriate accounting software to produce income and expenditure reports and consolidate financial reports and statements;

  • Preparation of bank reconciliation statements at the end of each month and coordinate the timely production of accurate financial reports as per the set deadlines;

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management with at least foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics with at least foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate.

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance with at least foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate.

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate.

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Proficiency in financial management systems

  • Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French. Knowledge of all is an added advantage

  • Analytical skills;
