Job Description

AOS LTD is a Service Provider that was established from the Joint Venture between the Government of Rwanda and Korea Telecom and is incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the business of providing advanced Information and Communication Technology (“ICT”) services based on a state-of-the-art Data Center, System development and Integrations, e-Government projects implementation and Consulting among others.

To effectively accomplish its business objectives, AOS Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidates to support its business operation.

Position: Finance Manager (1)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial tasks.
  • Review financial records and provide expert accounting and tax advisory services.
  • Manage all tax matters, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with banks, external auditors, and regulatory authorities
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor the company’s financial position, performance, and cash flows; identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct other supporting activities at the request of the line manager
  • Monitoring financial position , financial performance and cash flows or the company; revising and discrepancies of the reports; and checking the company’s assets and liability that could affect its equity in the future

  • Monitoring company’s financial planning and forecasting reports
  • Conduct financial analysis and risk management, including evaluation of liabilities and investments.
  • Ensure proper recording of financial transactions in line with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Advise management on investment decisions and provide strategic financial insights, considering cash flow and liquidity risks to support informed business decision-making.
  • Review and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and efficient resource utilization.
  • Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns and compliance obligations.
  • Support internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance,
  2. Professional Certification: CPA or ACCA is required.
  3. Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax regulations and other relevant laws.
  4. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance , accounting and with experience in Auditing firm preferred.
  5. Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  6. Experience in dealing with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
