Job Description
Title : Irrigation Officer
Reports to : Deputy Greenkeeper
Education level : Degree or diploma in any related scientific field.
Kigali Golf Resort & Villas' clubhouse is undergoing improvements to become one of the continent's top facilities. The clubhouse will eventually include a health club, tennis and squash courts, a swimming pool, and seven shops.
In order to improve playing conditions through proper water management, we are looking for a qualified irrigation officer to operate and maintain the irrigation system on the golf course.
Specific Responsibilities - include but are not limited to:
- aAsophisticated irrigation system's operation, upkeep, and repairs, including riser, valve, and distribution line leaks.
- Fixes sprinkler heads and control wires
- Well-manages and operates the pumping station
- Periodically checks various irrigation and drainage system parts to make sure they are functioning properly.
Knowledge, Skills and Traits
- Working understanding of the several types of pumps and pumping systems, as well as fundamental electricity, hydraulics, and computers as they pertain to irrigation systems, including automatic valves and controllers.
- Any associated scientific degree or qualification.
