1. Job Title: Community Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Officer

Location: Rwanda (with field travel across different regions)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement community-based entrepreneurship and empowerment programs 
• Train and mentor beneficiaries in basic business, financial literacy, and income-generating activities 
• Identify and support viable small business initiatives within communities 
• Monitor and evaluate program impact and progress 
• Build strong relationships with community leaders and local partners 
• Support beneficiaries in accessing markets and economic opportunities 
• Prepare reports on program implementation and outcomes 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in community development, entrepreneurship, or related field 
• Strong training, facilitation, and mentoring skills 
• Good understanding of small business development and financial literacy 
• Ability to work in rural and urban communities across the country 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets 
• High level of integrity, commitment, and teamwork 

2. Job Title: Social Media & Content Strategist

Location: Rwanda

Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media & Content Strategist to strengthen our online presence, tell impactful stories, and engage our audience across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media and content strategies aligned with the Foundation’s mission 
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, images, videos) across platforms 
• Manage and grow social media accounts and online communities 
• Plan and execute digital campaigns to increase visibility and engagement 
• Monitor analytics and performance to optimize content and campaigns 
• Capture and share impactful stories from the field 
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing 
• Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills 
• Creativity and ability to produce engaging multimedia content 
• Familiarity with social media tools and analytics 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 
• Passion for social impact and community development 

3. Job Title: Head of Partnerships, Innovation and Funds Mobilisation

Location: Rwanda (with frequent travel across the country)

About the Role:

D&D Karuse Foundation is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead its partnerships, innovation, and resource mobilization efforts. The successful candidate will play a key role in building strategic relationships, driving innovation, and securing sustainable funding to support the Foundation’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for partnerships, innovation, and fundraising 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders 
• Lead proposal development, grant writing, and donor engagement initiatives 
• Identify and drive innovative solutions to enhance organizational impact 
• Represent the Foundation in high-level meetings and forums 
• Ensure effective management of partnerships and donor reporting 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum age: 35 years 
• Proven experience in partnerships development, fundraising, or business development 
• Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills 
• Ability to travel and work across different regions of the country 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines 
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and results-oriented mindset 
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills 

4. Job Title: Senior Tailoring Instructor & Production Specialist

Location: Rwanda

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor beneficiaries in tailoring and garment production 
• Develop practical training programs and oversee skills development 
• Supervise production processes and ensure high-quality standards 
• Design patterns, cut fabrics, and oversee garment construction 
• Manage production timelines and ensure timely delivery 
• Maintain tailoring equipment and materials 
• Support innovation in product design and market-oriented production 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in tailoring, fashion design, or garment production 
• Strong skills in pattern making, cutting, and sewing 
• Experience in training or mentoring is an added advantage 
• Ability to manage production and meet deadlines 
• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong work ethic 
• Ability to work under pressure and in different locations if required
