The Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Officer – Medical Audit to join its dynamic and performance-driven team. Key Duties and Responsibilities
As the Senior Officer – Medical Audit, you will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive medical audit plans aligned with regulatory standards and RSSB objectives.
- Conduct on-site and desk audits of healthcare providers to ensure compliance with clinical standards, billing procedures, and contractual obligations.
- Assess the quality of healthcare services delivered to insured members and recommend improvements.
- Analyze medical and financial data to detect inaccuracies, fraud, or non-compliance.
- Prepare clear audit reports with actionable recommendations for management and stakeholders.
- Work closely with health facilities, internal teams, and partners to strengthen healthcare service delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance, monitoring, and evaluation.
Key Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Health Sciences, Public Health, Healthcare Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in medical audit, quality assurance, healthcare service evaluation, or health insurance operations.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work professionally, ethically, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
