Job Title: Pool Technician & General Maintenance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pool Technician who will primarily manage the maintenance and care of our swimming pool while also assisting with gardening and occasional general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of ensuring a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Pool Maintenance:

• Monitor, test, and balance pool water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, ).
• Clean pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and scrubbing
• Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and
• Respond promptly to pool-related issues or
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and chemical usage

Gardening & Landscaping:

• Water, fertilize, prune, and trim plants, shrubs, and trees as
• Maintain lawns, including mowing and
• Remove weeds and ensure garden areas are clean and well-
• Assist with seasonal planting and garden improvement

General Maintenance:

• Perform minor repairs and upkeep tasks around the property (painting, plumbing, basic electrical work, etc.).
• Report major repair needs to management
• Assist with setting up or moving outdoor furniture, equipment, or décor.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in pool maintenance is
• Basic knowledge of gardening and general maintenance
• Ability to operate pool and gardening equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather
• Good communication skills and ability to follow

Preventative Maintenance

• Compliance: Complete all scheduled pool inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance tasks 100% on
• Effectiveness: Reduce occurrences of major pool equipment failures (pumps, filters, heaters) by 20% within the first year.

Response and Resolution Time

• Speed: Respond to pool-related emergencies within 10 minutes and standard maintenance issues within 30 minutes during scheduled
• Resolution: Resolve 95% of reported pool or property issues within 24 Operational Efficiency
• EquipmentDowntime: Keep pool equipment downtime below 5%
• Inventory Management: Ensure 100% availability of critical pool chemicals, tools, and spare parts.

Guest/Management Satisfaction

• Feedback: Achieve a 90% or higher satisfaction rate from guests or management regarding pool cleanliness, safety, and
• Complaint Resolution: Address all pool or property-related complaints within 12 hours or less.

Health and Safety Compliance

• Inspections: Pass all internal and external health and safety audits related to pool operations with 100%
• Training: Participate in or provide at least two safety awareness sessions annually on safe pool handling and chemical management.
