  • ITM AFRICA LTD, a world leading HR Services provider is recruiting PRODUCT MANAGER for BK General Insurance (BKGI), a subsidiary of the BK Group, provides leading general insurance services in Rwanda. Established in 2016, BKGI is committed to deliver exceptional customer service through innovative products. Pursuing its rapid expansion, BKGI is looking for an experienced product manager to drive sustainable growth and deliver distinctive customer-centric insurance products.

Responsibilities

  • Track market trends, monitor competitors’ activities, and analyze customer insights to

  • identify insurance product opportunities.

  • Establish product vision and long-term roadmap in alignment with business objectives and

  • BKGI’s commitment to customer centricity.

  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to market release.

  • Redesign existing products by introducing new tailored features and enhancements to meet

  • customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including actuarial, underwriting, commercial, marketing, and

  • IT for effective product design, pricing, and implementation.

  • Manage product performance against key performance indicators, sales targets, and

  • strategic goals.

  • Work with Compliance to ensure that new products and features adhere to insurance

  • regulations.

  • Regularly communicate on product development progress including potential risks and

  • delays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, insurance, statistics or similar field.

  • At least 8 years of experience in product development or similar position.

  • Solid knowledge of general insurance industry and regulatory requirements in Rwanda.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Proven skills in project management; certification in project management a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to manage multiple assignments

  • simultaneously.
