Position: Restaurant Manager

Job Summary
As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient operations, exceptional guest experiences, and maximum profitability. This role involves managing staff, controlling costs, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations of both Front of the House and Back of the House
- Ensure exceptional service delivery and maximize customer satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and accurately
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery.
- Coordinate and oversee special events, private parties, and catering services.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels and control food and beverage costs.
- Supervise and organize restaurant shifts effectively
- Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity
- Forecast future needs for inventory, kitchen equipment, and cleaning supplies
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Cultivate and enhance the restaurant’s reputation, proposing improvements as necessary
- Manage operational costs and implement strategies to minimize waste
- Generate detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual financial performance
- Recommend strategies to expand customer base, such as discounts and social media campaigns
- Train new and existing staff on customer service best practices
- Maximize revenue through effective pricing strategies and upselling techniques.
- Implement policies and protocols to streamline restaurant operations
- Oversee bar operations, including maintaining liquor licenses, managing inventory, budgets, and goal-setting
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional service
- Develop effective schedules and resolve conflicts promptly to ensure adequate staffing during peak times
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and current legislation
- Manage diverse personalities among staff and guests
- Plan and participate in promotional events
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
