The Senior Officer, Partnerships is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that support RSSB's mission and objectives. The role contributes to strengthening stakeholder relationships, coordinating collaborative initiatives, and enhancing the delivery of social security services through effective partnership management.

Reporting to the Lead, Partnerships, the Senior Officer, Partnerships will be responsible for identifying partnership opportunities, coordinating collaborative initiatives, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and supporting the implementation of partnership strategies that align with RSSB's strategic objectives.
About RSSB
The Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) has the mandate to manage and promote social security in Rwanda. RSSB's vision is to provide a comprehensiv social security system that caters to the diverse social security needs of the population. RSS plays an important role in realising Vision 2050 and the National Strategy for Transformation.
RSSB manages six social security schemes: Pension, Occupational Hazards, Medical scheme, CBHI, Maternity Leave Benefits and EjoHeza (Long-term Saving Scheme).
As a leading player in the financial sector, RSSB serves as the largest institutional investor in Rwanda. With assets under management amounting to 3.06 trillion Rwf, RSSB invests in key sectors of the economy and plays a crucial role in growing the country's financial sector. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in formulating and implementing partnership strategies aligned with RSSB'S mission and objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify and assess potential partnership opportunities
- Support the design and implementation of collaborative projects with strategic partners.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance using agreed KPis and performance metrics.
- Serve as a liaison between RSSB and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations on partnership initiatives and outcomes.
- Support resource mobilization efforts, including identifying funding and partnership opportunities.
- Facilitate training and awareness sessions on partnership management and collaboration.
- Support the development and implementation of partnership policies and guidelines.
- Represent RSSB at meetings, conferences, and stakeholder forums to promote partnership initiatives.
- Resolve partnership-related challenges and facilitate effective stakeholder relationships.
- Collect and analyze partner feedback to improve collaboration and partnership outcomes.
- Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in partnership development and social security.
- Perform any other duties related to Partnerships as may be assigned from time to time.
Key Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate must have at least:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience; OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevarle experience.
- Proven experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, or project management within social security, public policy, or similar sectors is an added advantage.
