Job Title:  Welder
Reports to:  Production Manager
Function Area: Production

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder with strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety standards, and quality assurance practices. In this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, preparing and assembling metal components, and performing precise welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, or arc). You will also inspect welds to ensure strength and compliance with specifications, maintain equipment in excellent condition, and adhere strictly to safety protocols to guarantee a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Expertly welds small, medium, and large bore pipe of various metals and alloys.

• Solders and brazes of copper pipe.

• Performs complex mechanical installations per engineering direction.

• Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specifications.

• Lays out and installs piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.

• Works in conjunction with other crews and lead persons.

• Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school, recognized craftsman apprenticeship program or equivalent.

• At least five (5) years of experience and knowledge of and ability to use tools materials and methods.

• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.

• Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety.

• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
