Call for Applications for Admission and Scholarship for Academic Year 2026/2027 at Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA)

The Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture hereby informs the general public that applications for admission and scholarships for the September 2026 intake will be open from December 5, 2025 to January 16, 2026.

All admitted students at RICA receive a full scholarship, which includes:

Eligibility

We seek applicants who aspire to create transformational change in agriculture. Applicants will be considered based on academic performance, demonstrated leadership qualities and a passion for an entrepreneurial career in the agriculture sector. All classes are taught in English, so English language proficiency is required.

RICA students represent Rwanda’s best and brightest young leaders, and they all have one thing in common: a passion for making a difference, and a drive for serving their communities and country through conservation agriculture. Application Process

RICA accepts applications for new students every December. After the initial application window closes, finalists are selected and invited to an in-person interview day, including interactive group activities and an English proficiency exam.
