Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for accurately recording all financial transactions in the ERP system managing client billing and supplier payments, and maintaining the organization’s asset register. They will generate weekly payables and receivables reports, conduct regular bank reconciliations, and ensure proper documentation of all financial activities. The role includes preparing and filing timely tax returns in compliance with regulations, assisting in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports, and supporting audits by implementing recommendations. Additionally, the Accountant will monitor expenses against the budget, maintain strong internal controls, stay updated on tax laws, and provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
Responsabilités
Accurately record all financial transactions in the Enterprise resource planning system
Process and track all income, including client billing and follow-up on outstanding payments
Handle supplier invoices, accrue related expenses, and initiate timely supplier payments
Maintain and update the organization’s asset register to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Generate and provide weekly payables and receivables aging reports for review.
Conduct weekly reconciliations of all bank accounts to ensure accurate financial records
Track all bank deposits and payments, ensuring proper documentation and reporting
Ensure timely declaration and payment of all tax returns in accordance with regulatory requirements
Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and avoid penalties
Prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly financial performance reports
Provide financial data analysis to support strategic decision-making
Manager and monitor the petty cash & ensure timely payments of the vendors
Participate in financial audits and ensure full implementation of audit recommendations
Maintain strong internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and improve efficiency
Support financial planning by preparing relevant reports and forecasting financial trends
Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
Exigences
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field..
3 to 6+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
Completed/undergoing CPA/ACCA certification..
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and reporting
Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in handling and analyzing large volumes of financial data to generate meaningful insights.
Strong financial and analytical skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
