Job responsibilities
-
Process payments according to public accounting procedures;
-
Record college’s financial transactions in the books of accounts on daily basis;
-
Liaise with the Director of Administration and Finance on budget planning, reconciliations and overspends;
-
Prepare financial reports monthly, quarterly, yearly or any other period needed;
-
Ensure that financial reports are timely submitted to the Rwanda Polytechnic;
-
Prepare bank reconciliation;
-
Ensure safe keeping of financial documents;
-
Do the recovery of receivables from college debtors;
-
Ensure tax declaration and payment to RRA;
-
Correct errors in financial statement;
-
Facilitate auditing activities;
-
Provide periodic report as required;
-
Perform any other task assigned by his/her supervisor related to his/her responsibilities.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Management with at least foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate.

Bachelor’s degree in Economics with at least foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance with at least foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate.

Digital literacy skills (ICDL)

Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English or French. Knowledge of all is an added advantage
