Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the job holder is responsible for managing the Bank’s compensation & benefits strategies, ensuring that the Bank’s HR control & governance environment complies with local regulations, bank policies & best practices, as well as providing oversight to the HR Operations unit for efficient back-office support.
Main Responsibilities:

In line with the Group rewards policy, advice regarding customization of BPR Bank’s compensation and benefits programs based on current local trend analysis and policy direction.

In liaison with Group Rewards function, perform and oversee job evaluation, salary surveys, and benefits reviews to ensure the Bank maintains competitive Employee Value Propositions as aligned to the business strategy.

Conduct HR reviews to ensure all HR processes are aligned to the Bank’s approved HR Polices & Procedures and are in line with regulatory and labor law guidelines.

Manage the HR Operations unit, ensuring seamless and efficient back-office support and HRMIS functionality through identification of system requirements from a human resources perspective and training of system users.

Conduct Key Control Self-Assessments (KCSA) and follow up closure of control gaps raised in CSA, regulatory, internal and external audit for all the HR functions.

Review and provide trend analysis for HR Risk indicators for management insight and decision making.

Responsible for implementation follow up of HR Risk actions with monthly reports.

Work with the various HR Centers of Excellence to develop timely and accurate HR reports as required by different internal and external stakeholders.

Advise function heads, managers, supervisors, and employees on interpretations of HR policies and procedures.

Ensure data integrity and system use optimization by periodically checking the HR Management Information System for accuracy and information gaps, ensuring remediation if necessary.

Responsible for overseeing the annual budget planning process for all HR functions, and monitoring budget performance throughout the year.
Daily Responsibilities

Process daily requests from staff, e.g. salary advances, staff loans

Ensure and approve updates to the HRIS system; Oracle, prepay
-
Prepare/ review various reports to management and other stakeholders

Track implementation of audit closure actions

Review staff files for completion
Educational qualifications and work experience:
-
Bachelor of Human Resource Management/Business Management
-
Professional Qualifications- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHRI, SPHRI, CIPD

Master's Degree in HRM/Business Administration is an added advantage

A Minimum of Six (6) Years of experience.

Experience in Compensation and Benefits Management.

Experience in the usage of Data Analytical Tools and Reporting.
