Statistical analysis and Interpretation of Data

• Provide an essential framework to be used in the collection,
• preparation, recording and use of statistics
• Collect data and evidence for elaboration of Institutional policies, strategies and plans.
• Analyze, interpret data and categorize sex disaggregated data at all levels.
• Provide all data related to the patients to researchers
• Define and provide guidelines and methods for data collection and data analysis in the hospital
• Analyze and interpret statistical data in order to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information
• Evaluate the statistical methods and procedures used to obtain data in order to ensure validity applicability, efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise and provide instructions for workers collecting and tabulating data.
• Determine appropriate statistical policies and procedures
• Collection, analysis, interpretation and production of hospital Statistical reports on monthly, quarterly and annually basis

Participating in the preparation of the institution's annual and strategic plans -Collect the data and evidence for elaboration of Institution policies, strategies and plans.

• Cross check and triangulate the institution's available data and figures with publicly available sources.
• Provide information on needed information during the planning and budgeting process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics

• Knowledge and understanding of the Rwandan Health system

• Knowledge and skill in M&E, health data analysis, management and reporting

• Analytical skills;

• Knowledge of technical skills in the design and use of health Information systems platforms for data use and reporting
