Interpeace Rwanda has worked with several Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), international organizations and national authorities to build lasting peace by reinforcing the capacities of societies to overcome deep divisions and to address conflict in non-violent ways. In recent years, Interpeace in Rwanda has been the delivering societal healing programs focusing on strengthening societal mental health and trauma healing capacities, addressing inter-generational transmission of trauma, and promoting reintegration and cohesion of prisoners with the communities to which they return.
Purpose and General Overview
Interpeace is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional in Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning(DMEL) who is expected to play a central role in ensuring the effectiveness of Interpeace Rwanda’s monitoring, evaluation, learning, and research activities. This includes administering and maintaining the digital MEL system, coordinating data flows across multiple partners and government stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality, ethical, and secure data management. The Officer will provide technical leadership in digitalisation, data analysis, visualization, and reporting, generating evidence to inform programme management, advocacy, and policy engagement. In addition, the Officer will facilitate capacity building for diverse user groups, including field implementers, partner MEL officers, and government stakeholders, and contribute to joint governance and review structures that oversee programme performance.
Based in Kigali, this post involves regular travel across Rwanda to support field implementation and partner capacity strengthening.

Duration of the Consultancy
One year with possibility of renewal depending on fund availability. The consultant will ensure completion of DMEL framework design, digitization of tools, training, data analysis and production of final learning deliverables.
