JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to efficiently handle the loading, unloading, moving, stacking, and staging of products and materials. The ideal candidate will operate forklifts with precision while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and operational efficiency.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following established work procedures.
• Ensure all loaded/offloaded products are accurate and free from damage.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and submit a weekly monitoring report to the line manager.
• Minimize loading and unloading times and ensure smooth shift handovers.
• Comply with health and safety standards, ensuring forklift is at least twice a week.
• Refuel the forklifts daily by 9:30 AM to maintain operational readiness.

KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Rwandan driving license (category F).
• Proven experience in forklift operation with strong practical skills.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience operating forklifts or similar machinery.
• Strong organizational skills.
• At least three (3) years of post-primary education with effective communicate skills.
• Strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills for career growth.
