RAW MATERIALS WAREHOUSE SHIFT LEADER

 JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Raw materials store shift leader to efficiently oversee the intake, storage, and distribution of materials while ensuring minimal loss.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Record received goods on Goods Received Notes (GRN) and update warehouse stock cards.
• Assist in distributing goods to user departments based on approved requests.
• Organize workers to handle goods carefully during distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels daily to ensure optimum stock availability.
• Record all distributed goods transactions on warehouse stock cards.
• Assist in obtaining necessary information for quality checks (sampling, batch details, etc.).
• Coordinate manutentionnaires (handlers) and casual workers to ensure careful offloading and minimize loss.
• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) principles are followed in stock handling.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by coordinating regular cleaning schedules.
• Maintain and update data in the company’s ERP system as required.
• Generate accurate reports on stock movements, losses, and received goods.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in stock control, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
• Experience leading teams and managing shift-based operations.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, FIFO principles, and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with inventory software, and experience with Microsoft office suite.
• High integrity, reliability and strong work ethics.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
