As a Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding opportunities to support our mission of accelerating the adoption of electric mobility and building a sustainable EV ecosystem. Your exceptional writing skills, grant research expertise, and understanding of the EV industry will be instrumental in crafting compelling grant proposals that align with our vision for a greener and cleaner future.
Key Responsibilities:
Grant Research and Identification:
- Conduct thorough research to identify relevant grant opportunities, government incentives, and funding programs related to electric mobility, clean energy, and sustainable transportation.
- Stay updated with new funding initiatives and policy changes to ensure timely submission of grant proposals.
Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with the Kabisa team to gather information, data, and project details required for grant proposals.
- Write clear, persuasive, and well-structured grant applications that highlight Kabisa's objectives, impact, and innovative contributions to the EV ecosystem.
Budget Preparation:
- Work closely with finance and project management teams to develop accurate and comprehensive budgets that align with grant requirements and program guidelines.
Grant Submission and Reporting:
- Submit grant applications within specified deadlines, ensuring all required documentation and attachments are included.
- Assist in preparing progress reports and documentation required for ongoing grant compliance and reporting.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with grant-making organizations, government agencies, and potential funding partners to explore collaboration opportunities and funding possibilities.
Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Kabisa to gather necessary information and data for grant proposals and align grant efforts with company initiatives.
- Support other departments in grant-related matters, including data collection and project evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in the electric mobility or clean energy industry.
- Familiarity with electric vehicles, renewable energy, and sustainable transportation concepts.
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
- Strong research capabilities to identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities.
- Proficiency in budget preparation and financial analysis for grant proposals.
