INVENTORY AND WAREHOUSE OFFICER

Overview of the Job

  • Managing and Coordinating the Branch and Internal Stock Movement.
  • Responsible for tactical Issue resolution between HO & at branch level.
  • Managing information and communication flow relating to stock availability and deployment.

Key Duties, Responsibilities and Responsibility

  • Branch stock management. In charge of weekly Teams' Meeting with branch to review stock and Service levels.
  • Ensuring compliance to 5s and layout and design - all stocks in designated storage location
  • Checking and validating the quality of all incoming goods.
  • Ensuring all orders placed is correctly picked and Dispatched on Time and in Full to designated branches and internal department.
  • Timely communication with branch team on stock availability and Delivery status.
  • Timely escalation and correction of non-compliance on key items a. Inventory quality b. Obsolete items
  • Carrying out monthly, Quarterly and Annual Stock taking.
  • Bi-annual branch visit to review and develop capability handling stock and enhance relationship.
  • House Keeping. Ensure all stock is placed in the right location and bin as per ERP mapping.
  • Filling. Manage and ensure all picking slips is lled and labeled accordingly.
  • Manage weekly Stock count and Reconciliation as per stock policy.
  • Carrying out stock reconciliations in liaison with Finance team
  • Participation in Stationary Contract monitoring and evaluation with the Administration team
  • Monitoring usage and issuance of Stock at the branch level before issuance of additional stock
  • Any other added responsibility as deemed relevant to the role.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Attributes

  • Relevant Degree in Supply Chain, or Business Administration, Logistics, Warehouse Management, and related eld. • Diploma in Profession Courses like CIPS, CPA is an added advantage. • Minimum 2–3 years’ work experience in Warehouse and Logistics, Supply Chain or Accounting and Finance.
  • Good Computer Skills is critical.
  • Interpersonal Experience
  • Fluent in both oral and writing (English)
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word & Power Point
