1. Job Title: Services Industry Promotion Policy Specialist

Job responsibilities

Assess and analyze performance of service industry;
Formulate policies, regulations and strategies related to the services industry development and implementation plan ;
Advise the Ministry on matters related to the promotion of the service industry in Rwanda;
Liaise with different Government agencies on services industry development;
Advocate for the best practices geared to improve the performance of the services industry;
Work with other stakeholders to position the Country for investment in the Services sector.

Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French. Knowledge of all is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Rwanda's industrial, trade in services related policies and strategies
Knowledge of the industrial services sector and value chains

2. Job Title: Industrial Promotion Specialist

Job responsibilities

Formulate, analyze and review the policies, strategies and regulations on industrial development,
Assess the Industrial performance at national level
Carry out regular research and analysis on the international best practices to guide the local industrial development.
Lay strategies of assisting infant industries growth
Assess and analyze issues affecting different industries and propose measures for growth
Identify, develop strong relationship and work with stakeholders and partners to improve the industrial growth;
Support implementation of the industrial Master Plan.

3. Job Title: Market Infrastructure Analysis Specialist

Job responsibilities

Initiate and develop market infrastructure policies and strategies;
Ensure effective implementation of market infrastructure policy
Develop and update the market infrastructure database
Advise on development of market infrastructure financing mechanisms
Ensure that market infrastructure developments comply with national construction standards and regulations
Monitor the effective management, operation and maintenance of market infrastructures
Advise on market infrastructure upgrading and modernization of local government entities
