SOFTWARE DEVELOPPER

Purpose of the Job

The Software Developer will be responsible for development  and con guration  of new enhancements on digital channels solutions and modi  cation of existing Channels features for sales to Equity Bank Rwanda Merchants and Agents. The holder is also providing  technical support on existing channels such as second level support to e-banking, agency and mobile banking (Digital banking solutions). The start will also be responsible of the integration of 3rd parties solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Monitor all processing channels and ensure system maximum uptime.
• Continuously resolve any reported issues to achieve optimum system availability.
• Test and con gure products /features on e-banking, mobile banking  and any  other channels; to improve maximum customer experience on both retail and digital channels.
• Develop integration with 3rd parties through API and ensure capabilities with existing solutions;
• Develop In house applications and integrate with existing.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to operations on e-banking, agency and mobile banking, related claims and help desk to facilitate timeous service resumption.
• Provide technical input on new projects. Changes and best practices for projects involving digital platforms.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports to digital performance.
• Follow SLDC and Agile methodologies during development.
• Any other responsibility that may be assigned to you by your Line supervisors.
• Ensure continuous innovation of inhouse solutions, 3pps application and or of the shelve applications used in the bank

Qualification, Experience, Skills, and Core competencies

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information systems or any other relevant degree
2. Relevant professional quali  cations in IT and or digital banking
3. Minimum of three years of similar experience from an institution of similar size
4. Software and mobile development (C#, Java, Python, Mysql, SQL, PHP
5. Software Development experience (at least 2 years)
