Mantis Kivu Marina Bay Hotel, a premier four-star hospitality destination located on the shores of Lake Kivu in Rusizi District, Rwanda, is seeking dynamic, customer-focused, and service-oriented professionals to join our Food & Beverage team.
Positions Available
1. Waiter/Waitress
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and serve guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
- Set up and maintain restaurant, bar, and event service areas.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and complaints.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all service areas.
- Comply with hotel policies, service standards, and health & safety regulations.
2. Bartender
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards.
- Maintain bar stock levels and report replenishment needs.
- Ensure accurate billing and cash handling procedures.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while delivering exceptional service.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the bar area.
- Adhere to responsible beverage service practices and hotel policies.
Minimum Requirements (Applicable to Both Positions)
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or hospitality establishment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good command of English; knowledge of French and/or Kinyarwanda is an added advantage.
- Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and professional appearance.
