CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATION IN HEALTH PROGRAMS (BACHEROR OF SCIENCE IN GENERAL NURSING AND BACHEROR OF SCIENCE IN MIDWIFERY)
SEPTEMBER INTAKE INTAKE (2026-2027)
Kibogora Polytechnie (KP) in collaboration With Ministry of Health in the framework of supporting 4X4 Strategy initiative of the government of Rwanda is excited to announce to the public the funded scholarship in Bachelor of sciences in General Nursing and Bachelor of sciences in Midwifery.
Application Period: From 29° August, 2026 to 12ª September, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Have completed secondary education and meet the admission requirements below.
- Be medically fit and ready to follow the nursing training program full-time.
- Provide all required application documents.
Admission Requirements (Bachelor of Science in General Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Midwifery)
Applicants must meet the following:
- Overall average: 60%+ for candidates who completed secondary studies since 2024 and atIeast an "E" in Both Biology and Chemistry.
- If S6 was completed before 2024 the admission is based on the two principal passes, and the applicant must have; at least a "C" in Both Biology and Chemistry.
- If an Associate Nursing Program in secondary education was completed after 2023: Applicant must have Overall average: 60%+, and at least an "E" in Both Biology and Chemistry, or at least an "E" in Both Fundamentals of Nursing and Clinical Attachment
- Nursing program in secondary education completed before 2008 (formerly A2 Nursing) applicants must hold: a valid license to practice issued by NCNM, and at least C+ in: Fundamentals of Nursing, Introduction to Anesthesia, and Practical examination
Admission Test and Selection Process
- All eligible applicants will sit for an admission test.
- Final selection of scholarship beneficiaries will be based on the admission test score and compliance with the entry requirements.
Important Notes
- Any applicant found with false information or incomplete documents will be disqualified.
- Selected students will be required to sign an agreement as per the scholarship terms (if applicable).
