Filtration operator

JOB SUMMARY

The job holder is responsible for ensuring the beer is properly filtered to achieve the desired clarity, quality, and stability before packaging.

 KEY COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Ability to follow up filtration process.
• Ability to record, interpret results and communicate efficiently with Responsible in case of any deviation
• Respect the use of right quantity and quality of additives during the process according to the SOP
• Having at least 2 years of professional experience in agro-food industry.
• Able to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be in a good physical and health condition.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dynamism, creativity, flexibility
• Hold a degree in food science or related field.
• Able to speak and read English and or French.

 RESPONSABILITIES

• Monitor all filtration operations: deaerated water, high gravity beer, losses, pre-coat, Body make-up, Beer dilution, Co2 Saturation (Carbo-blender) and beer delivery in Bright Beer Tank (BBT).
•  Conduct regular checks to ensure beer clarity, color, and taste meet quality standards.
• Take samples for laboratory analysis and adjust parameters accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of filtration operations, including flow rates, pressures, and deviations.
• Work closely with brewing, packaging, and quality teams to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Send the beer to packaging according to the schedule
