The Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) is looking for a Senior Experience Designer (UI, UX) to join our Products team. The Senior Experience Designer is a multidisciplinary professional responsible for creating end-to-end digital experiences through user experience design, user interface design, motion design, and Al-assisted creativity. The role focuses on designing user-centered solutions that improve customer interactions while maintaining consistency with RSSB's strategic objectives and brand standards.

Reporting directly to the Head, Products, the Senior Experience Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital experiences that enhance customer satisfaction, engagement, and service delivery.

The Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) has the mandate to manage and promote social security in Rwanda. RSSB's vision is to provide a comprehensive social security system that caters to the diverse social security needs of the population. RSSB plays an important role in realising Vision 2050 and the National Strategy for Transformation.
RSSB manages six social security schemes: Pension, Occupational Hazards, Medical scheme, CBHI, Maternity Leave Benefits and EjoHeza (Long-term Saving Scheme).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Create user-centric designs by understanding business requirements, user needs, and stakeholder feedback,
• Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and intuitive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback and user behavior, and continuously improve experiences through iteration.
• Leverage Al-powered design tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, and simila: echnologies to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, motion design, and content creation.
• Design intuitive experiences for Al-enabled products, including conversational and intelligent user interactions.
• Evaluate emerging design technologies and AI tools to improve customer experience and team productivity.
• Develop motion graphics, animations, and interactive prototypes that enhance user engagement and visual storytelling.
• Maintain brand consistency and design standards across all digital channels and touchpoints.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, systems, and methodologies.

Key Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate must have at least:

• Bachelor's Degree in design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful design projects.
• Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, visual design tools, and wireframing platforms.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe X, InVision, Whimsical, and AI-assisted design tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in motion design and animation tools such as Adobe After Effects, Rive, Principle, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with LottieFiles and interactive animation workflows.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum development environments.
• Strong understanding of current UI/UX trends, techniques, technologies, and best practices,
