For Specialized Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Aviation Academic Programs at Kent State University, USA
The Higher Education Council (HEC) is pleased to inform Rwandan students of an exciting opportunity to pursue high-demand undergraduate and graduate academic programs at Kent State University, Ohio, USA, under a special tuition agreement established through a partnership between Kent State University and the Ministry of Education of Rwanda. Under this partnership, HEC wishes to inform the public that Rwandan students admitted at Kent State University will be eligible for a 50% reduction of tuition fees for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The Higher Education Council particularly encourages qualified self-sponsored students to apply for the following programs, which are aligned with Rwanda’s development priorities and emerging workforce needs:
- Master of Aviation Science
- Master of Aerospace Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering Technology
- Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Studies
- Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management
- Bachelor of Science in Air Traffic and Airspace Management
- Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering Technology
In addition to the 50% tuition fee reduction, eligible students who successfully complete their studies are assured of employment opportunities in Rwanda’s aviation sector once they come back. Successful candidates will be recommended by the Ministry of Education.
